Epinowcast is a community of infectious disease modellers, applied epidemiologists, software developers, and others working on real-time analysis of infectious diseases. Together we develop a suite of open-source tools (including the epinowcast R package and those part of our wider R-universe) and run a seminar series bringing together researchers and practitioners from across the field. We also conduct methodological research, write case studies showcasing best practices, support users and decision-makers, and compare our work to that of others.
We strongly believe that the challenges we face in the real-time analysis of infectious disease can only be overcome through community collaboration.
